Introduction:
My field is corporate law, in particular joint ventures, mergers, takeovers and financing activities. The connection between all of these is that I attempt to establish something sustainable. My task is often to find a solution which satisfies all parties and that requires more that just professional passion and knowledge of corporate law. The legal framework is one of the instruments to realise the entrepreneurial aims of the client and choices are driven by commercial demands. So it’s therefore very important to know the client’s business and where he or she wants to go. In this way, you can quickly establish a bond with the company and become personally involved. That makes your work much more enjoyable and you do it better too. You can only really give good advice if you know what the client is all about.
