Introduction:

Many of my clients are business people who want to, and do, take great risks, without losing sight of the interests of their shareholders and financiers. This approach is reflected in my way or working and field of work. I am more likely to guide and advise than hold back, unless the liability risks become too high. I enjoy working with experienced entrepreneurs who wish to expand their companies through takeovers. Or for investment funds and private equity houses – even though they are supervised by the Dutch Financial Service Authority or De Nederlandsche Bank. It’s a wide field: besides transactions, I guide many corporate governance projects, shareholder agreements and (bank) financing. I am also active in conflict resolution in arbitration or in front of the standard judge. I follow investment companies from start up (together with our notary’s practice), licence requests or prospectus approval (where necessary) up to full investment and finally disinvestment. I have been active for 21 years as advisor and lawyer and I willingly put that know-how, combined with my experience of business and as an entrepreneur, at the service of my clients.
