Introduction:
My area of work, corporate law, usually involves large transactions and the issues are almost always very complex. My aim is to represent my clients as best as possible by enabling them, in a very accessible manner, to understand what’s involved. This means I place great value on clearly and coherent advice, with which the client can make a balanced judgement. My qualification in Language Mastery/Argumentation Theory helps in all this. But it is also a legacy from my six-year career as a company lawyer. In business, people prefer to get to the bottom line, while of course there are other elements which play an important role, other than strictly legal issues. Thanks to my experience, I have the capability to successfully complete difficult – often international – negotiations. I always attempt to achieve this in a constructive, positive manner, with a focus on meeting concrete targets.
