Mayor Aboutaleb opens new Eversheds Faasen office in Rotterdam
On 9 October 2009 Mayor Aboutaleb will conduct the official opening of Eversheds Faasen’s new office. While other law firms are moving towards Amsterdam’s Zuid-as, Eversheds Faasen has chosen to invest in Rotterdam’s Oost-as. As a result of this move, Rotterdam’s business sector can now rely on a high-quality, international service provider with 47 offices in 29 countries.
From its new location in Rotterdam’s Oost-as, the firm is working on establishing a strong alliance between Rotterdam’s business sector and the international business community. Eversheds Faasen wants to use its international networks to actively contribute towards achieving the goals of the Rotterdam Investment Agency (RIA) and to position Rotterdam as the sustainable gateway to Europe. To this end, it has announced that it will make its office network available to the RIA to offer it a platform via which to establish contact with the international business sector, thereby drawing investments to Rotterdam.
