Practice notes
Miriam is a partner in the corporate and commercial practice group and has a special focus on the renewable energy practice.

Miriam has developed a large national and international practice in the energy sector. She has worked on several complex transactions and projects, amongst others in the Dutch oil & gas market and the renewable energy market. In renewables Miriam has advised on numerous projects and joint ventures concerning amongst others wind energy, bio fuels, waste to energy, carbon trade and heat pumps. She also advised on ecosystem projects.

Miriam has written several articles on corporate energy subjects and is the co-author of the book Joint Ventures in Europe of Ellison and Kling published in 2008.

Rob Faasen is a partner in the corporate and commercial practice group and managing partner of Eversheds Faasen. He has a special focus on the renewable energy sector. He has advised and assisted clients in many areas of the renewable energy practice.

Rob is regularly consulted by boards to advise on the more strategic issues in relation to certain projects or procedures.

Rob’s renewable energy focus involves him regularly in projects domestically and internationally for instance in the wind energy, the sale of wind turbines, acquisitions of know how, production facilities and intellectual property rights, contracts on bio fuels, investments in solar companies, setting up projects for carbondioxide reduction projects, for instance the ground breaking OCAP-project in the Netherlands in the green house sector, heat pumps.

Practice notes

Michel is a partner in our corporate group. He specializes in commercial law, in particular International trade agreements, and competition law. He speaks fluent English, Dutch, German and Spanish. He holds a master in law degree from Leiden University and spent several years in Brussels with the European Commission and a international law firm.

He has developed a large national and international practice in a variety of sectors, including the Energy and Utilities sector. Michel has worked on a wide range of transactions and projects, amongst others in the Dutch Oil & Gas market and the Renewable Energy market.
